Two Bridges Open Water Swim
The Two Bridge Open Water Swim is an exciting event for swimmers of all abilities to take on the challenge of open water swimming. (Please note that wetsuits are optional for this event).
It is promoted by ASA North East Region in conjunction with Northumberland and Durham ASA (Under ASA Laws and ASA Technical rules) and will be held at:
Castlegate Quay, Watersports Centre, Moat Street,
Stockton-On-Tees, TS18 3AZ
SATURDAY 14th AUGUST 2010
There will be a junior event, open to girls and boys aged between
13 and 15 and also an open event for swimmers older than 15 years. Both
events will be 1k in length.
Alongside the open event, the, North East open water swimming
championships will also be taking place. Race distances for this event
will be the junior (13-15years) 1k or 3k or senior 1k or 3k. For the
regional championship, swimmers can only enter one event.
